I am Kathy Rachal, the proud principal of McDougle Elementary! I was born in Texas but raised across the country as my father served in the military. I received my undergraduate and graduate degrees from Centenary College of Louisiana and taught in Louisiana prior to moving to the Houston area. I am honored to serve as principal at McDougle Elementary where the Lions make me proud every day!

Hello, my name is Yolonda Tigner and I am very proud to be a McDougle Lion!  I was born right here in the heart of Houston,Texas. I have been dedicated to the field of education for 26 years. I have been a teacher, counselor, and an assistant principal. I am honored to have the opportunity to lead a school with such persevering students, an extremely dedicated staff, and a supportive school community.  I feel very fortunate to be part of this school and to support the students and families.

Hello, my name is Carlos Chavez, Assistant Principal at McDougle Elementary. This is my 15^th year in education working at different capacities at the Elementary level. My goal as a campus administrator is to cultivate talent and equip all of our McDougle lions with the skills necessary to succeed in life. In addition, I believe in fostering relationships, establishing a culture of trust as well as leading with integrity and humility. I will strive to continue to look for opportunities to improve and grow. I am looking forward to an exceptional school year.
